About Soul Bowl

You know the feeling when you taste a spoonful of a bowl of something hot and delicious?

It could comfort and relax you, it could ignite taste buds with a kick of flavour, or it could simply satisfy a hunger. Whatever that feeling brings to you, it’s undeniable that a good broth is good for the soul. And that’s the feeling that inspired the name Soul Bowl.

That’s the feeling we seek to capture with our work. We understand that in the edit suite we’re akin to a chef using our knowledge, our expertise, and our passion to carefully prepare a good broth. We’re the post house version of that bomb soup spot, you can rely on us for quality every time, on every project.

I’m Ryan Brooke, a professional video editor and colour gradist, who started Soul Bowl to both offer post production services and use as a banner to work on film projects under. I’ve been specialising in post production professionally since 2018 and have experience editing spanning over a decade.

Our edit suite features custom built workstations, regularly colour calibrated monitors, screening facilities, fiber optic internet, and client work areas.
OFFLINE EDITING
Whether it’s a film, advertising campaign, or something in between, we can see your project to completion. We believe knowing how to prepare a good broth is just as important as having good ingredients.
COLOUR GRADING
Colour grading is a crucial step to help tie together the tone and style of a video. Proper colour work can elevate an average shot to something that looks much more highly produced and visually appealing.
COMPOSITING
If you need a background added to your green screen footage, an object rotoscoped out of footage shot on location, or even an alien spaceship added to that shot we can help you make your vision a reality.
MOTION GRAPHICS
We offer custom made motion graphic design and animation. If you need help bringing your projects titling and storytelling to the next level animation can add magnitudes to the visual experience and engagement.
